Each team captain or designated individual is required to attend a mandatory student briefing. All team members are encouraged to attend. Arrive at registration no later than 1:00 p.m., June 4. Following the briefing, display tables will be available to set up research projects.
The table presentation is for the research and community service project display only. It should not be used for any other purpose. At least one member of your team should be manning the table through the duration of the contest (2 hours). Of course, we cannot force you to remain at your table but you may be penalized by the silent judges if the table is unmanned. Teams will be notified when the contest begins. The tables will remain up through Saturday morning.
The research project topic is cybersecurity. Topic details and a rubric is available at Research Project.
Three out of the six competitions will be networking based. These make up the core of the competition and are a great opportunity to expand your professional network and develop soft skills. Scorecards will be disseminated to the participating teams that outline your instruction. All scorecards will be due leading up to the final event on Saturday.
This event will occur on Saturday, June 6 at 10:30 a.m. following the General Opening Session. The event includes the spirit competition, "Jeopardy," and the final top two teams competing in a "Family Feud" showdown. The champion will be crowned.
