2023 TCMA Annual Conference Questions and Answers

This page is dedicated to assist with questions regarding the 2023 TCMA Annual Conference. All questions are to be submitted electronically to tcmaconference@tml.org. Questions by phone will not be accepted. Questions from representatives of individual property venues will not be accepted. All questions are to filter through the designated individual of the city manager.

Proposals are to be sent from the city manager’s office and signed by the appropriate individuals per the bid packet. Proposals are due in electronic format to kim@tml.org or mailed to TCMA at 1821 Rutherford Lane, Suite 400, Austin, TX 78754, no later than 5:00 p.m., Friday, September 6.

Only questions regarding the 2023 TCMA Annual Conference will be addressed.

Question:
Can you provide a preferred hotel rate?

Answer:
TCMA is not requesting a specific rate for sleeping rooms. Please keep in mind that local government officials have limited budgets.

Question:
The 2023 TCMA Annual Conference RFP mentions the host city will coordinate the golf tournament.  Can you please elaborate on what the host cities responsibilities would be for this event?  Is the city response for covering the cost of transportation to and from this event?

Answer:
The host city will work with a designated TCMA member to secure the location of the golf tournament. Historically, individuals have been responsible for transportation to and from the event.
